What is ZINGI?
ZINGI is a concentrated drink made from ginger, lemon and honey, with no water and no preservatives. It is a ginger shot sold online at zingi.ro and delivered to your door in Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria.
The three ingredients are cold-pressed and the drink is then pasteurised. It tastes of ginger and lemon: hot, sharp and rounded off by honey. There is no water, no flavourings, no colourings and no apple juice used as a filler, which is why a small dose goes a long way.
ZINGI can be taken as a ginger shot or diluted into lemonade. If you know ginger shots from London, Berlin or Amsterdam juice bars, this is the bottled, ready-to-pour version, with no juicer and no cleaning up.

A note on sweetness: honey is sugar, and it is the only sweetener in ZINGI. ZINGI has 40 g of sugars per 100 ml, so a 50 ml shot contains about 20 g, all from honey and lemon.
How do you drink a ginger shot?
Shake the bottle and pour 50 ml for a straight shot, or mix 1 part ZINGI with 5 parts water for lemonade. A 500 ml bottle gives 10 shots or about 12 glasses of lemonade.
How much per day?
- Adults: 50 ml a day.
- Children from 3 years: 20 ml a day, ideally diluted in water.
